Living Arrangements

Ihya Seminary is open to students far and wide, many of whom will travel from throughout the country in the pursuit of Islamic education. While we serve our local students, who commute from their homes, we also have several students who live in our housing. The estimated monthly cost for boarding is $250 per month, which consists of the living arrangements and the meal services for the boarding students, excluding the tuition.

To be considered for housing, please click here. All out-of-state students who are 18 years or older and attending the Seminary must stay in the housing arrangements provided by the institution. There is no on-campus housing available for students under 18 years of age for Alim course students only. Prospective students who will require living arrangements must specify during the interview.

Meal Services

Ihya Seminary offers an affordable catered meal service that includes lunch and dinner seven days a week. Meals are arranged by the Seminary, ensuring students eat from local halal-certified restaurants.

Classrooms

•⁠  ⁠We have a minimum of five spacious classrooms equipped with modern amenities, including whiteboards, projectors, and audiovisual systems. Our classrooms provide a comfortable and interactive learning environment conducive to academic excellence.
•⁠  ⁠Our spacious classrooms are fully carpeted, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere conducive to focused learning. The soft carpeting helps absorb sound and creates a warm, welcoming environment for students.

Each classroom is equipped with individual floor desks, designed to accommodate traditional learning methods commonly used in Islamic education. These floor desks provide students with a dedicated space to engage in hands-on learning, recitation, and group discussions in a manner that honors Islamic tradition and heritage.

Library

Explore our small yet comprehensive library, filled with a vast collection of classical Hanafi fiqh books, tafseer books, and other Islamic literature. Our library serves as a treasure trove of knowledge, allowing students to delve deep into the rich heritage of Islamic scholarship.

Prayer Hall

•⁠  ⁠Our dedicated prayer hall provides a tranquil space for daily prayers, congregational prayers, and spiritual reflection. Designed with serenity in mind, the prayer hall offers a peaceful retreat where students can connect with their Creator and nurture their spiritual well-being.
•⁠  ⁠Additionally, the large space serves as a conducive environment for Hifz students to memorize the Quran. Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the masjid atmosphere, Hifz students can immerse themselves in the sacred task of memorization, guided by the blessings of Allah (SWT) and the support of our dedicated faculty.

Recreational Game Room

Unwind and recharge in our recreational game room, equipped with various games and activities for leisure and relaxation. Whether you enjoy table tennis, foosball, or board games, our game room offers a fun and vibrant atmosphere for socializing and recreation.

Living Arangements

We facilitate accommodations for students who have traveled from out of the city or state to study with us. Our priority is to offer a safe and nurturing environment. Each accommodation is fully furnished and spacious, designed to ensure comfort and support academic success. (Age restrictions apply)

Dining Hall

Indulge in a diverse culinary experience with three meals a day provided to our students. Our dining hall offers a delicious array of American, Indo-Pak, and Mediterranean cuisine, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. We prioritize nutritious and wholesome meals to fuel both body and mind.
