Maulānā Mudassir Sharieff

At the age of 16, Maulānā Mudassir Syed Sharieff embarked on his noble journey of sacred knowledge by committing the Holy Quran to memory. This marked the beginning of his remarkable odyssey, which led him to enroll in the rigorous six-year Alimiyyah program at Darul Uloom Al Madania in Buffalo, NY.

In 2019, he emerged as a distinguished graduate, specializing in theology, jurisprudence, philosophy, logic, and Arabic grammar, earning notable distinction. Concurrently, he achieved a high school equivalency diploma with merit from the University of the State of NY, showcasing his academic prowess.

Continuing his academic pursuits, Maulānā Mudassir is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State College, combining his passion for sacred knowledge with modern education.

Proficient in both English and Urdu, Maulānā Mudassir's expertise extends to Tajweed sciences and Classical Arabic. His dedication to perfecting his recitation of the Quran led him to Azaadville, South Africa, where he excelled in advanced Tajweed and Qira’at courses.

A seasoned teacher and mentor with over 9 years of experience at Darul Uloom, Maulānā Mudassir has left an indelible mark on his students. Beyond the classroom, he has actively engaged in community service, delivering inspiring Jumuah Khutbahs, leading Taraweeh prayers, and participating in various outreach projects, all while offering guidance to community members seeking answers to their Islamic inquiries.
